April is nearly upon us and so is Camp NaNoWriMo, as the emails keep reminding me. And I want to do something, but my aching head feels like it is stuffed with steel wool that is unrinsed after washing dirty dishes, I have a hundred and one there things screaming for my attention, and my last few NaNo attempts were failures.
So while there is a moderate desire to do something, it's not only a question of what (a poem a day, start a new work, finish an old one?), but do I even have the energy or inspiration?
